Jen Bricker, Dominique Moceanu Pair Up to Deliver M-PACT Keynote Address

February 24, 2017 •

For the first time in its 15-year history, the M-PACT Show will feature two keynote presenters: Jen Bricker and Dominique Moceanu, whose mind-blowing story of spunk, drive and the ties that bind has captivated and inspired audiences around the world. The keynote luncheon featuring Bricker and Moceanu is scheduled for Wednesday, April 19 from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm.

Jen Bricker

Jen Bricker grew up an avid gymnast who idolized Dominique Moceanu, the prodigy who made a splash as part of the gold-medal-winning “Magnificent Seven” women’s gymnastics team at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta. With Dominique as her inspiration, Jen followed her passion for power tumbling. She became an Illinois State Champion, despite having been born without legs, and placed for adoption as a newborn. Jen was raised by her adoptive family to believe there was nothing she couldn’t do. It was that can-do mindset, coupled with hard work and determination, that led her to pursue a career as an accomplished acrobat and aerialist.

Dominique Moceanu

Dominique came of age in a different setting, but was also instilled with a competitive spirit. The last gymnast to compete in the Olympic Games at age 14, she became the youngest athlete ever to be featured on a Wheaties box before going on to earn a gold medal at the 1998 Goodwill Games. Dominique would nab another seven medals at international events until retiring in 2000.

No amount of grit and fortitude could prepare them for the earth-shattering news they would learn as adults. In a strange twist of fate, Jen discovered her childhood hero, Dominique, was also her biological sister. Today, Jen and Dominique strive to inspire others to believe that, even when life throws you off balance, everything is possible with the right attitude and effort.

“Dominique and Jen’s extraordinary story of parallel lives, overcoming obstacles and navigating life’s unexpected twists and turns is a unique departure for the M-PACT Show, and one we are confident will resonate with our audience,” said Scot Imus, Executive Director of the Indiana Petroleum Marketers & Convenience Store Association (IPCA), a co-host of M-PACT 2017. “The individual stories of Jen Bricker and Dominque Moceanu are powerful on their own, but together, their unexpected connection and unbridled spirit are astonishing.”

The Industry Luncheon is a ticketed event; admission is not included in the price of registration. For more information, to purchase tickets and to learn more about the Midwest’s energy and convenience event of the year, visit
